Our baby clothing comes in premature sizes as well as 0-3 months.

Visit your Bag & add gift-wrap, a card, & type your message.

On your bag page above the checkout button you will see a tick box next to "Add gift-wrap & card". Select this.

This will open our Gifting Widget. This enables you to add a card and message, and add gift wrapping.

We send it directly to your loved one (or to you if you prefer)

Simply put the gift recipient's address as the Shipping Address if you want us to send it directly to them.

We recommend baby clothing, which is not only useful but also a bit of a treat if the parent's clothing budget is a little tight. Plus a quality soft toy or blanket makes a great new baby gift; something that is made to last as well as being adorable.

Budgeting for newborn baby gifts

How much should I spend on a newborn baby gift?

The amount you spend on a newborn baby gift typically depends on your relationship with the parents and your personal budget. Here are some general guidelines:

  1. Close friends or family: £40 to £100 or more. Gifts in this range can include items like baby blankets, premium baby clothing and boutique toys.
  2. Casual friends or co-workers: £20 to £40. This could cover items like cute baby clothes, a small soft toy or a baby book.
  3. Group gifts: If you're contributing to a group gift (like from a team at work), a £10 to £30 contribution is usually appropriate, depending on the overall goal for the gift and your relationship.

FAQ about our newborn baby gift service

Can I build my own baby gift box?

Yes! We do offer some recommended baby gift boxes, but you have the freedom to choose any items you like and then we will gift-wrap them all along with a handwritten card and send the gift for you.

Do you have any recommended new baby gift boxes?

We offer several ready-made newborn baby gift boxes, to make it even easier to shop with us. However most customers enjoy the freedom to create their own baby gift.

What if I choose a gift for a baby they already have or that isn't quite right?

No problem! There is no need for the baby gift box recipient to get you involved. Gift recipients can return their new baby gift to us directly and we will email them a voucher of the same value to spend on something else.

Can my baby gift box be delivered directly to the recipient?

Yes. That's what most gift box customers want us to do. Simply put the gift box recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout.

Do you offer letterbox fitting postable baby gift boxes?

Wherever possible for new baby gift boxes we will use a box that fits through most letterboxes. New parents are busy enough without having to ensure they are home to receive a parcel.

Of course if you are adding some of our larger products into your new baby gift box then this isn’t possible, but these will be sent by Royal Mail or the local postal service internationally, so a missed delivery will never be too far away for collection (baby gift box recipients can organise a redelivery on Royal Mail's website/app easily too if preferred).

Better for the environment

  • Maximising the chance of delivery first time reduces the number of miles a package has to travel, which is better for the environment too.
  • UK delivery is by Royal Mail (least CO2 per parcel of all major carriers).

Are baby gift boxes sustainable?

Having a newborn baby is the most special of times, and we feel any gifts that arrive for the new baby should be nicely packaged in a sustainable way.

  • PLASTIC-FREE - No plastic packaging in our new baby gifts.
